Siding
Project
Michael Charrier was asked in June by the
former association
president, Al Canossa, to act as advisor to the board, and in July he was voted onto the board. He
did an assessment of the project and outlined the following
objectives:
1. Repair the damage and
insure the buildings are structurally sound.
2. Preserve or increase the
value of our property with design changes.
3. Design for maintenance-free
buildings to save on future maintenance expenditures.
With that in mind the board agreed to
the following:
1. Replace the existing siding and
fake "stucco" with Hardiplank siding, a cement board
siding.
2. Re-design all entranceways to conform to current building codes
and to enhance the buildings.
3. Re-design all balconies to
conform to current building codes and to enhance the
buildings.
4. Enhance the design of Vantage Point
to be updated as the newer buildings currently being
built at Stratton. This will be accomplished in the siding
project which includes the roof line, overhangs and all
trim details. |
